Love this place absolutely full but managed to get me a table thrower gave me a menu then asked what flavours I like and promptly cooked a curry best Indian food I've had in years great staff and price
Small Restaurant with a big heart, foo d was very good and plentiful, service prompt and (carry out boxes ) if too much to eat. Humour and friendliness of staff 100%. Catered for 12 with no prebook ( after a wake ) forgot how good it was here, many years out of town. Visit and enjoy.
Hands down the tastiest Indian restaurant in town. It is not the prettiest inside, but the food and service are excellent. They take cash, card and mobile contactless. All the staff are very friendly. I am not a vegetarian, but requested something with garlic and ginger, vegetable-based. The waiter nodded entusiastically as he wrote something down. I don't know what it was called but it was exactly what I had in mind! I will certainly be returning. Table for 3, with poppadoms, mains, and rice, with a toal of 5 beers was around 93 at time of writing. (The other 2 had chicken curries.)
I give this restaurant a 5 star review because the service is very good, the staff are very understanding towards children in the restaurant and the food is simply overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. The waiters knew their food and advised us on the different dishes that are available. They are very polite and welcoming. I will definitely return. Thankyou for a great experience.
We were made to feel very welcome as we entered the restaurant. The manager asked us about how we liked our food and brought us an amazing starter platter and main meals suited to our tastes. Food was amazing. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again.
Just moved to the area and this place was recommended. Fairly quiet as it was a Tuesday night for our anniversary, but service was excellent and the food tasted amazing. Drinks were also really reasonably priced. Couldn’t fault it, can’t wait to go back!

I've been to Maharani many times, and I've never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes from all over India. I've always found something to my taste, whether I'm in the mood for a mild curry or a fiery vindaloo. The service at Maharani is always top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations. They also know the menu inside and out, so they can answer any questions you have about the dishes. The prices at Maharani are very reasonable. You can get a delicious meal for under 20 per person. This makes it a great option for a special occasion or a casual weeknight dinner.
Our party of four had one of the best meals ever last night the food was full of flavours and the service was impeccable. I would highly rate this restaurant and haven’t found the same food quality and flavours for some years. The service was excellent and the staff were so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you.
